The 'Population Growth Rate' map is really interesting. The more economically advanced a nation becomes, less the desire to 'procreate' of its citizens. In India, the states with the highest GDP contribute less to this growth while the poorer states which still depend on primitive economy like agriculture, and small-scale industries contribute more with this rate going as high as 5%.

The shockers are Venezuela and Uruguay though. Can't quite connect the dots. About Eastern Europe, the decline in population was expected. The growth Western Europe seems to be fueled by immigrations though.
